Fitness & Health
Senior Center offers a "Tai-Chi" class on Tuesday and Thursday mornings
at 9:00am. This free class is a slow movement activity that helps
to build balance and strength. The group class also does some
chair-sitting Yoga exercises.
The Senior Center offers a number of health care and preventative
services and programs. These programs include flu
shots and monthly 'foot clinics'. The Senior Center also works closely with area
medical providers to offer pertinent and timely seminars and

including treadmills, stationary bike, recumbent bike, and a 'Nu-Step'

The Wahoo Senior
provides a number of opportunities for recreational
water color and oil painting, and card making. Bingo is
played on Tuesday afternoons. Crossword puzzles,
newspapers, and magazine reading are everyday

pitch. On Wednesday morning, Tarock is played which is a Czech
card game and in the afternoon Liverpool Rummy. On Thursday
afternoon, seniors gather for Pinochle.
Card tournaments usually occur on Friday afternoons.
Bridge groups meet throughout the month. Contact the
center to check the monthly schedule for exact dates and times.
The Senior Center
abundant opportunities to work on center projects such as driving the
Wheels van, working in the Thrift Shop, or helping keep the center
for the next day’s events or special projects. The
Center relies upon dedicated volunteers to assist the staff with a
